なぜなら、②Standard Pathway (General Registration) の条件を日本にいながら全てクリアすることは不可能だからです。②の経路でGeneral Registrationを取得するには、オーストラリアの病院で研修を修了していなければなりませんから、これはすでにオーストラリアでの臨床の世界に入っていることを意味しています。
ただ、②の経路を同時進行で進めていくことは出来ます。具体的に言うと、①の経路で医師登録をする傍ら、AMCのPart1もしくはPart2の準備をして②への移行を目指すということです。AMCのPart1に既に合格していても当面は①Limited Regsitrationでの登録しかできません。同様にPart2まで合格していても当面は①の経路でしか医師登録はできません。ちなみにPart1（筆記）は比較的簡単な試験ですが、Part2（インタビュー形式）の合格は非常に難しいです。日本にいながら勉強している場合は、Part1は問題ないですが、Part2の合格は至難と言わざるを得ません。Part2の合格は、オーストラリアで実際に臨床研修を日々やってみて、英語能力、医学知識、対策を身につけていかないとなかなか果たせないものだと考えられます。ただ②の経路については、迂回が出来る方法もあるので、また後述して掘り下げる予定です。
This is the continuation from the previous article. In reality, it is noticeable that only ①Specialist Pathway Short-Term Training (Limited Registration) is the way to register at first.
Because it is impossible to clear all criteria of ②Standard Pathway (General Registration) when you are in Japan (overseas countries). In order to get the General Registration via ②, you have to have completed one year hospital rotation in Australia. This means you have already managed to enter into Australian clinical medicine field.
Nevertheless, you can proceed preparation for ② at the same time. More concretely, while you register with ①, you can prepare AMC Part1 and Part2 and aim to switch to ②. Even if you have already passed Part1, you can only register under ①Limited registration at first. Likewise, even if you have already passed even Part2, you can only register under ① at that time. For your information, Part1 is relatively easy, however, Part2 is very difficult. It is most likely possible to study and pass Part1 while you are in Japan (your own country), but Part2 is different. Without decent English ability, medical knowledge and strategies which you are likely to acquire from actual Australian clinical daily practice, passing Part2 seems difficult. However, there is a round-about way in ②, which is to be detailed in due course.
